My name’s Josh. I set-up the original and best-reviewed free walking tour of Manchester over 10 years ago. Since then, we’ve grown into a small team, who are incredibly proud of the experience we’ve crafted over the last ten years.

As Storytellers as well as History MA graduates, but most importantly proud Mancunians.

On our entertaining, informative and informal adventure through Manchester, we tell a story: 

The story of a city that shocked the world, when it became the first ever industrialised city. 

The story of a city at the cutting edge of Victorian politics, architecture and technology. 

The story of a city that rose from the rubble of war and industrial decay, to become a swaggering home of poets, ravers, football and music makers.

We tell the story of Manchester.

We bring the city to life through music, photos, storytelling and a taste-test of a local drink, to reveal Manchester’s top-attractions, as well as lesser known quirks that can only be known by our local guides -

Alongside this, the free Manchester tour offers fantastic photo opportunities, the chance to meet new people, and we offer all our guests a unique list of our top recommendations.
